"People, Society And Religion: The Risale-i Nur Perspective" Conference Held In Istanbul
On the 15th of October, the President and various members of a council of Sufi Ulema from Indonesia visited our Foundation.
The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture has been undertaking Risale-i Nur based Education Programmes in the Arabic language, under the supervision of expert teachers Ihsan Kasim Salihi and Dr. Mamoun Jerrar.
A group of scholars and academicians from The Islamic Science University Of Malaysia (USIM) visited the IFSC to give a presentation on their project titled “Al-Quran, Education and the 4th Industrial Revolution”.
Between the 25th September and 2nd October, the IFSC was visited by a group of eleven academic researchers from Ukraine. The religious-studies oriented group came to Istanbul for an Islamic research study trip, organised by our foundation.
Between the 14th and 19th September an Education Committee from the Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture arrived in Ukraine for the purpose of discussing and negotiating the development of a teacher training project.
The ninth of the Conference on Risale-i Nur Studies, which was organized and hosted by the Istanbul Science and Culture Foundation, was held in Arabic on July 16-20
The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture held its 9th International Risale-i Nur Studies Conference on July 2-6.
Between the 13th and 14th March, 2008 an international Nursi symposium was organized in the city of Egadir in southern Morroco. Around twenty academics participated and gave presentations in the event which was co-organised by Karavin University.
The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture hosted a group of teachers from Iraq for the purpose of facilitating Risale-i Nur inspired educational outreach.
