Said Yüce

Chair of the Board of Trustees

He was born on 28 January 1963 in Merzifon, Amasya. His father’s name is Ahmed İlhan and his mother’s name is Hayriye. A theologian and journalist-writer, he graduated from the Faculty of Theology of Ankara University. He completed his master’s degree at the same university.

After working as a politics, foreign policy and parliamentary correspondent for various newspapers between 1985 and 1993, he served as Ankara representative and columnist.

He held various positions at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of State, the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and the AK PARTY Headquarters. He has served on the boards of various civil society organisations and has published works on a variety of subjects.

He served as an AK Party Member of Parliament for Amasya in the 25th term and for Isparta in the 26th term. He was a member of the Human Rights and Environment Committees.

Yüce, who has a good command of English and Arabic, is married with 2 children.

İlyas Karademir

He was born on 01-10-1956 in the district of GÖLE in the province of Ardahan. He attended primary, secondary and high school in GÖLE.

In the 1974-1975 academic year he entered the Erzurum Kazım Karabekir Institute of Education. He later left there in 1976 and came to Istanbul on 1 March 1976. In the same year he entered the Atatürk Institute of Education and graduated in 1979.

He worked at YENİ ASYA PUBLICATIONS; in 1991 he founded a printing company together with 4 partners and began running his own business, and the partnership continued until 2006.

In 1997 he and his brothers founded the family company İMAK OFSET BASIM YAYIN TİC VE SAN LTD ŞTİ. His brother Ahmet Karademir ran the printing house until 2006; in February 2006 he left the company in which he was a partner and began working with his brothers in the family company, where he still continues in the same work together with Ahmet and Mustafa Karademir. The family company İMAK OFSET BASIM YAYIN TİC VE SAN LTD ŞTİ provides books, catalogues and all kinds of printing services to 24 countries.

He is married with 3 children.

He was born in Bursa in 1964. After completing primary, secondary and high school in Bursa, he enrolled at the Faculty of Law of Istanbul University in 1981-1982.

Following his graduation from the Faculty in 1987, he spent nearly a year in England for language studies. He has been working as a freelance lawyer since 1990. Between 2009 and 2014 he served as an AK Party Istanbul Provincial Council Member and Provincial Executive Council Member.

He serves as a member of the boards of trustees and executive boards of various civil society organisations. He is married and the father of two daughters.
