Then I had recourse to the way of Sufism and studied it. I saw that it was most luminous and effulgent, but that it needed the greatest caution. Only the highest of the elite could take that way. So saying, this way cannot be a general way at this time either, I sought help from the Qur'an. And thanks be to God, the Risale-i Nur was bestowed on me, which is a sound and short way of the Qur'an for the believers. [^345]
