Mizanur Rahman Azhari, a Bangladeshi scholar and President of the Hasanah Foundation, paid a congratulatory visit to our Istanbul Science and Culture Foundation as part of the 13th International Bediuzzaman Symposium.
During the visit, Said Yüce, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Istanbul Science and Culture Foundation, emphasized the importance of the principles of faith in Islam alongside the verses containing legal rulings, noting that the cosmic verses in the Holy Quran can be used as an effective method in outreach efforts, particularly those targeting young people.
Recalling that Bediüzzaman Said Nursî, in his work *Sözler*, regarded the universe, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the Holy Quran as the three great universal guides that introduce us to our Lord, Yüce emphasized that the universe serves as an important guide in recognizing Allah.
Yüce also noted that Muslims should develop an educational model based on the “literal meaning” (mana-yı harfî) approach—one that views existence within its connection to Allah—rather than relying on secular educational systems that sever the link with the Creator.
We thank Professor Mizanur Rahman Azhari for his kind visit and wish him success in his work.
