On the 4th of November, a group of young students from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) arrived at our foundation to take part in an education project titled "Discovering Turkey's Spiritual Heritage".

The Malaysian students attended a 5-day programme which consisted both of lectures delivered by the IFSC from morning to afternoon as well as study tours around Istanbul's historic places and buildings. In the lectures they learned about the life and religious conduct of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi as well as concepts and principles elaborated in the Risale-i Nur (e.g. "iman-i tahkiki" or "belief through investigation").

Also they visited students in Istanbul who had fled to Turkey from Syria and gave them warm greetings and presents from Malaysia. In addition, our Malaysian guests attended traditional study circles and acquired what was, in their view, an authentic and living spiritual flavour of Turkey's religious heritage and legacy.

More details about the programme as well as detailed feedback from the participants will be posted here soon.
