Seventh 5D Thinking Level 1 Training Completed! (August 6–11, 2025)

The seventh 5D Thinking Level 1 Training (5D Thinking for Transformative Teaching), which began on August 6, was successfully completed on August 11, 2025. Educators from Malaysia, UAE, Canada, Oman, and Pakistan had the opportunity to learn the core principles of the 5-Dimensional Thinking Approach through both its theoretical and practical dimensions.

As in every program, during this seventh Level-1 training, participants engaged in deep discussions on the tawhidi philosophy of science through the 5-dimensional mode of thinking, developed as an alternative to the secular paradigm of education. They attended theoretical lectures as well as intensive, hands-on workshops on how this approach could be applied in education. In addition, each participant was expected to design at least one 5D lesson adapted to their own context, which was then shared within the group. In this way, the program not only aimed at understanding the philosophy of the 5D Thinking Approach but also at developing practical skills for applying it in educational environments.

On the final day, participants concluded the program by presenting original 5D projects they had developed in groups. Each group produced educational materials or implementation plans relevant to their own context, which were then shared and discussed with the other participants. The closing program took place on Monday, August 11, following these presentations.

Educators from different countries came together in the seventh 5D Training Program. In the closing session, participants shared how the program had transformed them in their own words:

• Azra Banu, Malaysia:
  “Old textbooks were lacking—especially the section on analogical thinking was completely missing. Thanks to this training, I now know I can revise my curriculum. My course content was secular before, but now I will take steps to change that.”

• Aisha Khawaja, Canada:
  “I used to ask myself whether I was a good teacher in an Islamic school. But I realized that what I taught did not fully align with Islamic teachings. This questioning brought me here. Now I feel a stronger connection with God. I even look at a fly differently: ‘Does it fly on its own?’ I ask myself. My plan is to convey what I learned here to young minds, because as educators, we are the architects who lay the foundation of the future.”

• Nadia Rahim Mirza, Canada:
  “This program truly broadened my horizons. I now see the world with completely new eyes. I have many new ideas about how to nourish my students’ minds. If we all apply this model, we will have planted a fruitful seed.”

• Asad Khan, UAE:
  “I moved from the UK to the UAE two years ago. Since the UK is a secular country, there were cultural differences in education and character development. I was wondering how I could improve myself and integrate Islam into the curriculum. This program completely changed my way of thinking through its model of shifting from secularization to a tawhidi perspective. I am no longer just seeking integration—I am transforming my own worldview.”

• Macid Abdallah, Oman:
  “Although we are Muslims, secularism had become part of our lives. After this program, I feel as if I have been reborn.”

The program concluded with the distribution of certificates and gifts.
