
IIKV's Friendship and Cooperation Visits in Qatar for an Islamic Approach to Modern World Challenges

Said Yüce, the President of the Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IIKV), visited Qatar with representatives from IIKV's Arabic branch for the purpose of fostering friendship and cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, both Qatar University and IIKV agreed to future collaboration.

The second visit of the IIKV delegation was to the home of Prof Ali Karadaghi, President of the International Union of Islamic Scholars, in Doha.

During the conversation, important issues regarding the world and humanity were discussed. Conversations with Prof Şentürk centered around topics such as humanity, society, language, and literature, as well as new approaches in Islamic education, society, science, civilization, and emerging concepts in scientific language.

Significant discussions were held on these issues.

The delegation's final visit was to the home of Macd Makkî, a prominent hadith scholar residing in Qatar and the author of the Quranic exegesis "El-Muin." Mekkî expressed his pleasure with the visit and shared his willingness to collaborate on common Islamic issues in the future.
Before leaving Qatar, the IIKV delegation visited the Qatar Museum. Said Yüce, President of the IIKV Board of Trustees, expressed their intention “to establish a grand “Ayat-ül Kubrâ” museum in the near future, inshaallah.”
